It’s an excellently reliable and powerful movement in line with the Seiko 7s26 calibre. It’ll continue for several years with no need of something as is often the situation with everything else Seiko makes. However it does look a little plain and industrial (but we can’t have all the feaures).

THE STRAP

The strap is suitably sized for any 44mm watch at 24mm wide in the lugs (similar to a Panerai). This increases the impressive wrist presence the Gallant has.

The leather is fairly top quality, most likely not really supple when i might have loved - it begins quite stiff - but hopefully it’ll burglary as time passes. I guess the thickness from the leather doesn’t assist the rigidity, however the strap around the Steinhart Nav B-Uhr Vintage is simply as thick and it is simply beautiful.

The black top is offset pleasantly with higher quality, contrasting white-colored stitching which will keep things a little interesting. The bottom is really a creamy colour with placed details - again offering a little bit of contrast.

The strap has only one keeper loop, but it’s super thick and works equally well as two smaller sized ones - and that i really that can compare with the appearance from it too.

The buckle is really a tang buckle - and I know they’ve attempted to behave unique using the design and shape, but regrettably it isn't employed by me… I believe a pre-V buckle might have looked great here. It’s very rounded and that i don’t think it matches the timepiece. Her Audaz name deeply engraved on top, and regardless of the appearance it’s simple to use and will the job you’d expect it to.
